Ticket-themed cards and inserts are on tap for the 2021-22 Panini Contenders Basketball release this year.
With a focus on the popular Rookie Ticket cards the 2021-22 Panini Contenders Basketball will fall two autographs per hobby in this return of the stylized theme of tickets as backgrounds for the autos, base and a few of the inserts.
Along with the pair of autographs, eight additional inserts will be found in the Hobby box. Hobby-only opportunities here include Legendary Contenders, Lottery Tickets, MVP Contenders, Rookie of the Year Contenders, Suite Shots, and Superstar Die-Cut with a fresh design.
Collectors can also find Legendary Contenders, Lottery Ticket, MVP Contenders, Rookie of the Year Contenders, and Suite Shots.
The Rookie Ticket Autographs are the mainstay of the set with signatures as well as brand history.
Fans should look for Cade Cunningham, Jalen Green and Jalen Suggs as top signature picks.
Parallels hit a few levels including Cracked Ice, Championship Ticket and the NBA 75th Anniversary.
Short-prints are hobby-only and will likely be the toughest pulls, with License to Dominant and Permit to Dominant.
Veteran Ticket Autographs provide signatures of some of the base set’s top stars with parallels Playoff Ticket and Finals Ticket, plus a Premium Edition version printed on chrome stock.
On-card autographs for the 2021-22 Panini Contenders Basketball include Rookie Ticket, Veteran Ticket and the limited parallels of Playoff Ticket, The Finals Ticket, and Premium Edition Gold (1/1).
The estimated release date for 2021-22 Panini Contenders Basketball is 30 March 2022.
