The yearly favorite is back for the MLBPA with the 2022 Panini Diamond Kings Baseball where artsy cards in base, insert and auto form can be found by fans who enjoy a bit of variety.
Three Hobby-exclusive parallels await collectors as do one autograph and one relic per Hobby box.
The Diamond Kings checklist for 2022 includes baseball stars from now, then and upcoming, with a base set of 10 parallels. Look for Hobby-only Plum Frame and Gray Frame amongst them.
Making our way to inserts, you’ll find Elegance (the ten best players who play with a bit of polish) and Maestros for present and past stars who are masters of their position (twenty cards).
The very best hitters are featured in the 10-card The Art of Hitting lineup and look for the ultra-rare editions to the inserts including Aurora, Blank Slate and the debut of Le Cinque Piu Belle.
Autographs are dense with rookies. From DK Signatures to dual-swatch DK Material Signatures, as well as Signature Portraits for retired and current players.
Not much is known yet on the relic inclusion but expect to find Bat Kings, a 35-player set for top hitters.
