2022 Topps Chrome McDonald’s All-American Game set brings first Bronny James cards

Topps McDonald’s returns with all-new chrome basketball set! Topps is re-establishing their partnership with McDonald’s to commemorate the return of the All-American Game.  

The McDonald’s All-American Game will be held on the 28th of March at the Houston Toyota Center and will celebrate the end of the American and Canadian high school basketball season. Top prospects of the season will play an exhibition game in an East vs. West style format, a slam dunk contest and a three-point shooting competition.

Top Kentucky prospect and LeBron James’ son Bronny James will be headlining the men’s West roster. The All-American set will be vital to card collectors looking to add Bronny’s inaugural card to their collection as Bronny James’ first card set appearance will also include his very first autographed card. This holds significance both for the existence of the Bronny James autos themselves and the licensing implications they will have going forward. 

Topp’s All-American Chrome Basketball Hobby Box is set to release on the 22nd of March, house a 100-card base set featuring the top stars from the men’s and women’s teams. The set will showcase these players with Hoopers, Future Stars, Red ‘n’ Gold and Autographed cards, as well as various refractor parallels and 1/1 printing plates. Topps will also include an homage to their iconic release with cards including the classic 2006 Topps McDonald’s All-American Design.
