SNEAKER FREAKER and GLOBE collaborate to present the world’s first event of its kind. Pushing the outer limit with a street party, a sneaker swap meet, a car and bike show, and even a vinyl record fair.

Introducing THE BIG KAHUNA!

We will be there serving up more fresh Cherry stocks, supplies and there will be over 100 tables with sneakers, records, toys, bikes, bike parts, vintage street wear and retro sports apparel.

There’s more.

Completing this unique event will be a display of hot rods, muscle cars, cruisers, low-riders, JDM styling and motorbikes.

Entry is FREE, but don’t forget to bring cash because you’re probably going to need it.

WHEN: SUNDAY 13 OCTOBER, 10am to 3pm

WHERE: 1 FENNELL ST, PORT MELBOURNE

PUBLIC TRANSPORT: Catch a 109 Tram from Spencer Street, get off at Stop 127 North Port and it’s a five minute walk to the Big Kahuna.

We just got word that the Melbourne Marathon is on the same day and there will be some road closures. Please follow the instructions below for traffic assistance:

COMING FROM THE SOUTH
If you’re coming from Prahran, Sth Yarra or St Kilda, take Dandenong Road (aka Princes Hwy) then Queens Way/Kings Way to South Melbourne and then head west to Fennell St. You cannot cross St Kilda Rd or Beach Rd and the whole Albert Park area is shut down as well.
TOLLWAY ROUTE. Take the Monash Freeway and exit Montague St-W3 which is only a short distance from the event.

THE NORTH
For anyone coming from Nth Melbourne, Fitzroy, Carlton and Brunswick, there is no change of plan. Head to the Docklands and take Wurundjeri Way past Etihad then turn tight at Williamstown Road. Avoid Spencer St and the Casino precinct. Flinders St will be blocked.

THE EAST
Head to West Melbourne and take Wurundjeri Way. Avoid Spencer St and the Casino.
TOLLWAY ROUTE. Take the Monash Freeway and exit ‘Montague St-W3’ which is only a short distance from the event.

THE WEST
There shouldn’t be any problems if you’re coming from the West, as the easiest way to get to the venue is via Wurundjeri Way and Williamstown Road.
TOLLWAY ROUTE. Take CityLink and then exit at Lorimer Street.

See you there Cherries!
