Pokémon TCG Sword & Shield will do it again with the upcoming Brilliant Stars expansion, containing 172 cards before secret rares. It’s presumed that this number doesn’t include the subset either, so fans are hopeful for a large haul.

Also featured in the Pokémon Brilliant Stars release are the Arceus VSTAR, Charizard VSTAR, Shaymin VSTAR and Whimsicott VSTAR.

Pokemon VSTAR, evolving from Pokémon V, will have an ability or attack as their VSTAR power, with one used per game and purported to be extremely (and battle-ending) powerful. Pokémon VSTAR will have high HP and high-damage attacks as well, giving up two Prize cards when KO.

Trainers will be chuffed with the new Pokémon Brilliant Stars release too.

A special Trainer Gallery subset, expected to be 30 cards with fan-favorite artwork. Rumors are suggesting this will be the Character Rares from VMAX Climax.
